my sister Dena gave me this recipe canning spaghetti sauce, she got it from our mother. nothing like ypur own spaghetti sauce it has such a different taste than the boughten type.

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 tsp
    basil leaves
  • 2 tsp
    oregango
  • 2 tsp
    black pepper
  • 1/2 c
    brown sugar
  • 3/4 bunch
    celery, chopped or grind
  • 3 1/2 c
    onions, chopped or grind
  • 3 Tbsp
    coarse salt
  • 12 c
    tomato juice
  • 4 can(s)
    4 0unces each mushrooms, drained
  • 6 can(s)
    12 ounces each tomato paste

How to Make spaghetti sauce

Step-by-Step

  1. add all ingients in large pot. cook on low heat for 45 min. put into pint jars and seal.
  2. for pressure cooker at 10 lbs. pressure for 10 min. or water bath for 30 min.
