Ingredients For spaghetti sauce

1/2 conion, sliced

1bay leaf

1/4 tspthyme

1 tspsalt

1.5 tsporegano

1/4 cparsley

3 ozmushrooms, canned

16 oztomato sauce

2 lbtomatoes, canned

2garlic cloves, minced

1 lbground beef
-
2 Tbspolive oil

1 cwater
How To Make spaghetti sauce

1In large skillet, cook onion in hot oil until almost tender.

2Add meat and garlic; brown lightly.

3Add remaining ingredients.

4Simmer uncovered 2 to 2 1/2 hours or until sauce is thick; stir occasionally.

5Remove bay leaf.

6Serve over hot spaghetti.

7Garnish with parmesan cheese, if desired.

8NOTE: One pound of spaghetti will serve 4 to 6 as a main dish with sauce.
