This is an easy sauce that you can make ahead and keep in the fridge

  • 2 lb
    lean hamburger or sausage or a combo of both
  • 1
    pepperoni stick (optional)
  • 1
    small onion, chopped
  • 2 tsp
  • 2 tsp
  • 2 tsp
    Italian seasoning
  • 2 Tbsp
    basil aioli
  • 2 Tbsp
    parsely flakes
  • 2 Tbsp
  • 2 clove
    garlic, minced
  • 4 c
    tomato puree
  • 1 c
    tomato paste
  • 1 can(s)
    large can of tomatoes or tomato sauce
  • 2 c
  • 1 c
    red wine
  • 1 Tbsp
  • 2 can(s)
    mushrooms (optional)
  • 1
    green pepper, chopped (optional)
  • ·
    crushed red pepper flakes

How to Make Spaghetti Sauce


  1. Brown meat with the onion in a small non stick frying pan.
  2. Add all ingredients together in a large stock pot and simmer at least 3-4 hours.
  3. Works great in a crock pot, also. cut water back by 1 cup when using the crock pot method.
