This is an easy sauce that you can make ahead and keep in the fridge

Ingredients

  • 2 pounds lean hamburger or sausage or a combo of both
  • 1 - pepperoni stick (optional)
  • 1 - small onion, chopped
  • 2 teaspoons salt
  • 2 teaspoons pepper
  • 2 teaspoons Italian seasoning
  • 2 tablespoons basil aioli
  • 2 tablespoons parsely flakes
  • 2 tablespoons oregeno
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 4 cups tomato puree
  • 1 cup tomato paste
  • 1 can large can of tomatoes or tomato sauce
  • 2 cups water
  • 1 cup red wine
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 2 cans mushrooms (optional)
  • 1 - green pepper, chopped (optional)
  • - crushed red pepper flakes

How To Make spaghetti sauce

  • Step 1
    Brown meat with the onion in a small non stick frying pan.
  • Step 2
    Add all ingredients together in a large stock pot and simmer at least 3-4 hours.
  • Step 3
    Works great in a crock pot, also. cut water back by 1 cup when using the crock pot method.
