smoky buffalo wing sauce

This fabulous spicy sauce is incredibly easy to make! You can use this smoky, zippy sauce on chicken wings/drumettes, and other proteins.

Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter
  • 6 tablespoons frank's® hot sauce
  • 3/4 tablespoon white vinegar
  • 1/2 teaspoon worcestershire sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoon cholula® hot sauce, or any of your choice
  • 1/8 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/8 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1/8 teaspoon chipotle chili powder
  • 12-15 large chicken wings or drumettes

How To Make smoky buffalo wing sauce

  • Step 1
    In a small saucepan over medium heat, combine all the ingredients. Bring to a simmer, whisking occasionally. Remove from heat and keep it warm until ready to serve. Just before serving, whisk again until all the ingredients are combined again.
  • Step 2
    Pour half of the sauce over cooked drumettes/wings and transfer chicken back to the oven (temperature off). Remove after 10 minutes and pour the rest of the sauce over. Serve immediately.
