    butter
  • 1/4 c
    splenda or equivalent liquid splenda
  • 1/4 tsp
    garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp
    onion powder
  • 1 tsp
    salt
  • 1 tsp
    dry mustard
  • 1 tsp
    paprika
  • 1 tsp
    chili powder
  • 1/2 tsp
    pepper
  • 1 1/2 c
    water
  • 1/4 c
    cider vinegar
  • 1 Tbsp
    worcestershire sauce
  • 6 oz
    tomato paste
  • 1 Tbsp
    liquid smoke

How to Make Smokey BBQ Sauce

Step-by-Step

  1. mix all but the tomato paste and liquid smoke in a medium pot. Bring to a light boil, then simmer 20 minutes. Whisk in the tomato paste and liquid smoke. Simmer an additional 10 minutes
