This is my favorite spaghetti sauce, not only is it great tasting but it is so easy to make. I freeze what is left over so when I get ready for spaghetti again I already have sauce made.

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 pounds ground beef
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 2-(28) ounces cans crushed tomatoes
  • 2-(8) ounces cans tomato paste
  • 2 - bay leaves
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 4 tablespoons minced garlic
  • 3 teaspoons dried basil
  • 3 teaspoons dried oregano
  • 2 teaspoons salt
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons dried thyme

How To Make slow cooked spaghetti sauce

  • Step 1
    Cook ground beef and onion in skillet until brown, drain. Transfer to slow cooker. Add all other ingredients. Cover and cook 4-5 hours on low. Discard bay leaf. Serve over pasta.
