This is my favorite spaghetti sauce, not only is it great tasting but it is so easy to make.
I freeze what is left over so when I get ready for spaghetti again I already have sauce made.

Slow Cooker Crock Pot

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 lb
    ground beef
  • 1 medium
    onion, chopped
  • 2-(28) oz
    cans crushed tomatoes
  • 2-(8) oz
    cans tomato paste
  • 2
    bay leaves
  • 2 Tbsp
    brown sugar
  • 4 Tbsp
    minced garlic
  • 3 tsp
    dried basil
  • 3 tsp
    dried oregano
  • 2 tsp
    salt
  • 1 1/2 tsp
    dried thyme

How to Make Slow Cooked Spaghetti Sauce

Step-by-Step

  1. Cook ground beef and onion in skillet until brown, drain. Transfer to slow cooker. Add all other ingredients. Cover and cook 4-5 hours on low. Discard bay leaf. Serve over pasta.
