when i made this my son said "Hey this taste like real syrup!" I had to laugh before i could even tell him it was real but just homemade.

Step 1

1. In a medium saucepan, combine sugar and water. Bring to a boil, stirring, until sugar has dissolved.

Step 2

Remove from heat and stir in vanilla.
