Ingredients

  • 1 (15 oz) can(s)
    tomato sauce
  • 1 (15 oz) can(s)
    rotel
  • 1/4 c
    corn oil or oil of choice
  • 1/2 small
    white onion -- diced
  • 1 small
    jalapeno -- diced
  • 2 Tbsp
    apple cider vinegar
  • 1/4 c
    chili powder
  • 2 Tbsp
    adobo all purpose mexican seasoning

How to Make Savory Enchilada Sauce

Step-by-Step

  1. Heat stove on medium heat and put oil in sauce pan and let it get hot.
  2. Add onion and peppers to oil and saute until onions are translucent.
  3. Then add in vinegar, rotel, tomato sauce, and seasonings.
  4. Let it cook on low heat for 25 to 30 minutes.
