Ingredients
- 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
- 2 cups fresh sliced mushrooms
- 1 cup dry red wine
- 1 tablespoon worcestershire sauce
- 2 cups beef broth
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- 1/4 teaspoon each ground rosemary and ground thyme
- salt and pepper to taste
How To Make red wine mushroom sauce

Step 1In a sauce pan add the oil and saute the mushrooms until they have given off their liquid. Meanwhile mix the beef broth, Worcestershire sauce and cornstarch together. Set aside.

Step 2Once the mushrooms are browned. Add the wine and bring to a boil and let reduce by half. Add the beef broth mixture and boil until thickened. Add the rosemary and thyme. Taste and season with salt and pepper.
