I found this recipe on the box of apple dumplings..and since i bake sugar cookies with red hots i tried it, it was of so good on those apple dumplings.

1/3 cup sugar
2 teaspoons cornstarch

1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
2/3 cup water
2 tablespoons red hots

How To Make "red hot" cinnamon sauce

Step 1

Mix all ingredients together in a sauce pan over medium heat. Bring to a boil, stirring frequently, till all melted. serve over warm apple dumplings.
