vegetable oil
4 c

thinly sliced onions
1 Tbsp

minced garlic
1 c

canned chicken broth
6 Tbsp

honey
2 Tbsp

spicy whole grained mustard
2 Tbsp

apple cider vinegar

How To Make polish - honey onion sauce for polish sausage

Heat oil, add onions cook till carmelized- 15 minutes ? Add garlic cook 1 minute. Add chicken broth and bring to a boil. Cook stirring till reduced to 1/2. Add mustard, vinegar and honey. Lower heat to medium low. Simmer till thick - 6 minutes ? Remove from heat, cool 10 minutes before serving with Polish sausage. Yield 1 cup.
