flour
1/2 tsp
white pepper
1/4 tsp
black pepper
1 1/2 tsp
lime juice
1/2 tsp
salt
1 c
mexican crema

How to Make Poblano Crema Sauce

Step-by-Step

  • 1In a medium sized sauce pan heat up the oil and sauté the onion, poblano, and garlic until tender and almost caramelized
  • 2Throw in the butter until melted
  • 3Add Flour to thicken
  • 4Stir in crema and milk
  • 5Add white & black pepper, limejuice and salt; Stir and let simmer 3-5 minutes
  • 6Remove from heat, taste test!
