    poblano pepper
  • 1
    white onions
  • 3
    garlic cloves
  • 3 tsp
  • 1/2 c
  • 4 Tbsp
  • 1 Tbsp
  • 1/2 tsp
    white pepper
  • 1/4 tsp
    black pepper
  • 1 1/2 tsp
    lime juice
  • 1/2 tsp
  • 1 c
    mexican crema

How to Make Poblano Crema Sauce


  1. In a medium sized sauce pan heat up the oil and sauté the onion, poblano, and garlic until tender and almost caramelized
  2. Throw in the butter until melted
  3. Add Flour to thicken
  4. Stir in crema and milk
  5. Add white & black pepper, limejuice and salt; Stir and let simmer 3-5 minutes
  6. Remove from heat, taste test!
