pizza sauce
A friend of mine gave me this recipe and it's been a favorite of ours. I make it early in the day in the blender and refrigerate until ready to use so the spices all blend together.

Makes 1-1/2 cups {for 2 pizzas}
Ingredients
- 14 1/2 ounces ( or 1-3/4 cups)chopped or diced tomatoes, including juice
- 6 ounces tomato paste
- 2 teaspoons dried basil
- 1-1/2 tablespoon olive oil, extra virgin
- 1-1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1-1/2 teaspoon sugar
- - salt to taste
- 1/2 teaspoon garlc,chopped {optional}
How To Make pizza sauce

Step 1Early in the day {to give the flavors time to blend together}put all together in a blender and mix well. Refrigerate until ready to use. I don't add the garlic, but that's just my taste, if you like garlic you can add.
