Ingredients
- 2 cloves fresh basil
- 3/4 cup olive oil
- 1/2 cup fresh parsley, chopped
- 1/4 cup pine nuts
- 2 cloves garlic, chopped
- 1 1/2 teaspoons coarse salt
- 1 1/2 teaspoons fresh ground black pepper
- 1/2 cup romano cheese

Step 1Put all but cheese in blender. Blend smooth with on/off for about 5 min. Put into bowl, add cheese and adjust seasonings. Serve over pasta. Or use for dressing for potato salad, mix with rice and nuts for chicken stuffing, over poached vegetables, or to flavor soups. Can stay tightly covered in fridge up to 3 months.
