peppers parmesan & herb spaghetti sauce

A great flavorable homemade sauce that is simple to make! I made this sauce up myself. My sister Karen has her own sauce titled Cherry Tomato Sauce and Onion Meatballs! She made up a while back! She is also posting her recipe too! We thought it would be fun to see who got the most pintches!

Ingredients

  • 1 pound lean hamburger meat
  • 12 - campari tomatos on the vine
  • 1/2 - onion
  • 1 small jalapeno peppers
  • 1 jar mezzetta sweet yellow & red roasted peppers
  • 2 cans 6 oz italian herbs tomato paste
  • 1 - packet of kraft parmesan seasoning blend rosemary & garlic(found on the noodle isle)
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon perfect pintch italian seasoning by mccormick
  • 1 can 14.5 oz beef broth

How To Make peppers parmesan & herb spaghetti sauce

  • Step 1
    Cook hamburger meat until no longer pink,about 10 minutes. Drain excess oil off.
  • Step 2
    Sliced the tomatos in half and add to a blender.
  • Step 3
    Chop the half onion and add to blender.
  • Step 4
    Slice jalapeno pepper open and take out seeds and veins. Add pepper to the blender.
  • Step 5
    Take one sweet roasted red pepper and one sweet roasted yellow pepper and add to blender.
  • Step 6
    Add the two cans of tomato paste to blender.
  • Step 7
    Add all the seasonings to the blender.
  • Step 8
    Take 1/3 cup of beef broth and add to blender. Turn blender on until all is blended.
  • Step 9
    Add sauce to meat.
  • Step 10
    Add the rest of the beef broth to the meat. Simmer on low for 15 minutes.
  • Step 11
    Serve over your favorite pasta!
