Good on a lot of things...I had been searching for a good, versatile sauce and couldn't find one...So I made one!

Ingredients
- 2 tablespoons butter, unsalted
- 2 tablespoons flour
- 1 cup 1% milk
- 1/2 cup freshly grated parmesan cheese
- - salt and pepper to taste
- 1 pinch smoked paprika
How To Make parmesan cheese sauce

Step 1in a skillet melt butter over medium high.

Step 2sprinkle flour while consistently whisking. cook until golden and lumpy (30 second to a minute)

Step 3gradually add in milk (keep whisking) and bring to a boil and cook for 1 - 2 minutes or until thickened.

Step 4Add Parmesan cheese, salt and pepper and paprika, whisking still, until smooth.

Step 5Remove from heat and serve immediately.
