- 2 1/4 pounds almonds, skinned

- 3 cups sugar
- 1/2 cup honey
- 2 teaspoons vanilla

Step 1Make syrup with water and sugar. Should be stringy. Take out about 1/2 cup, then add almonds. Don't add reserved syrup unless needed for consistency. Add honey and vanilla.
