This is good on chicken & pork chops. Keeps in fridge for weeks. I got this recipe from my son's sister-in-law, Norma. I usually have some in the fridge and I half the recipe sometimes. I think the molasses is the secret!

Ingredients

5 c
water
1 1/2 to 2 c
apple cider vinegar
1 stick
butter
1 Tbsp
liquid smoke flavoring
1 1/2 Tbsp
worchestershire
64 oz
btl of ketchup
1 pt
molasses (3/4 pt is ok)
salt & blk pepper( to taste)
red cayenne pepper to taste (optional)

How to Make NORMA'S BAR-B-Q SAUCE

Step-by-Step

  • 1In medium stock pot, blend all ingredients & bring to slow boil. Now simmer until the meat you're grilling is ready. You can refrigerate what you won't use for weeks.
  • 2Kick it up a notch, as Emeril would say, by adding red cayenne pepper.
