  • 1 can(s)
    large can of puree+1/2 cup water
  • 1/2 c
    olive oil
  • 3
    chopped fine garlic cloves
  • 1 tsp
    ground oregano
  • 1=2 can(s)
    chopped clams(i use 2 but you can add one
  • 1/2 tsp
    salt(you can add more if you like or less
  • 1/2 tsp
    lemon pepper
  • 1 tsp
    garlic powder(optional)

How to Make Nana JoAnn's


  1. Over medium heat, in sauce pan saute garlic cloves in olive oil till golden brown.Add Puree,water and clams stir well.Add the rest of the ingredients stir.Simmer for one -two hours.You can make a white sauce by omitting the puree and using a cup of water.DONT DRAIN CLAMs.
