My Mom would make this at least once a week growing up. She used real tomatoes mostly... but I use cans... shhhh dont tell her!!

Ingredients
- 1/4 cup ev olive oil
- 2 (14oz) cans diced tomatoes (i think hunts is best but use what you like)
- 3-4 cloves garlic chopped or sliced
- 1 - handful of parsley
- 4-5 - basil leaves rolled up and torn
- - salt & pepper to taste
How To Make my marinara sauce

Step 1sautee garlic in oil until it starts to get golden in color (make sure not to burn)

Step 2Add the tomatoes, parsley and basil and bring to a boil (stir often)

Step 3Simmer for about 30 minutes to an hour (the longer the better but not necessary)
