Kyle and I are great lovers of BBQ and love to try out different rubs, marinades and sauces ..thanks to BHG for the basis of this awesome recipe.:D There ARE a lot of ingredients that go into it, but most are already in your cupboard (For those of us who cook Mexican, ALL are already in our cupboard lol) If u like spicy without being overly hot and want to try a different, but great BBQ sauce -give this one a try. Enjoy!

  • 3/4 c
  • 2 Tbsp
    butter, chopped
  • 1 Tbsp
    brown sugar, firmly packed
  • 1 Tbsp
    unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 Tbsp
    cider vinegar
  • 1 Tbsp
  • 1 1/2 tsp
    yellow mustard
  • 1 Tbsp
    creamy peanut butter
  • 1 1/2 tsp
    worcestershire sauce
  • 3/4 tsp
    smoked paprika
  • 3/4 tsp
    ground ancho chile pepper
  • 1/2 tsp
    kosher salt
  • 1/2 tsp
    dried oregano, crushed
  • 1/4 tsp
    garlic powder
  • 1/4 tsp
    onion powder
  • 1/4 tsp
    ground cinnamon
  • 1/8 tsp
    black pepper
  • 1 Tbsp

How to Make Mole Barbeque Sauce


  1. In medium microwavable bowl, combine all ingredients. Mix well and microwave on high 1 1/2 minutes. Stop and stir and then microwave for an addition 1 1/2 minutes.
