Kyle and I are great lovers of BBQ and love to try out different rubs, marinades and sauces ..thanks to BHG for the basis of this awesome recipe.:D There ARE a lot of ingredients that go into it, but most are already in your cupboard (For those of us who cook Mexican, ALL are already in our cupboard lol) If u like spicy without being overly hot and want to try a different, but great BBQ sauce -give this one a try. Enjoy!

Ingredients

  • 3/4 cup ketchup
  • 2 tablespoons butter, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar, firmly packed
  • 1 tablespoon unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 tablespoon cider vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon molasses
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons yellow mustard
  • 1 tablespoon creamy peanut butter
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons worcestershire sauce
  • 3/4 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 3/4 teaspoon ground ancho chile pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano, crushed
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/8 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon water

How To Make mole barbeque sauce

  • Step 1
    In medium microwavable bowl, combine all ingredients. Mix well and microwave on high 1 1/2 minutes. Stop and stir and then microwave for an addition 1 1/2 minutes.
