The original recipe suggested stevia for this but I don't much care for the taste of stevia, but I don't mind Xylitol, it is one of the best non-sugar sweeteners out there and it's "not" chemically altered.

Ingredients
- 3/4 cup filtered water
- 1/2 cup low sodium soy sauce
- 3/4 cup xylitol
- 1 1/2 teaspoons molasses
- 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/8 teaspoon ground ginger
- 1/8 teaspoon xantan gum or guar gum
How To Make low glycemic teriyaki sauce

Step 1Combine water, soy sauce, molasses, Xylitol, garlic powder, ginger and cornstarch; whisk to mix well.

Step 2Bring to a boil over medium-high heat, stirring constantly, until mixture boils and thickens slightly.

Step 3Cool to room temperature.
