  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 2 tablespoons flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/8 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 cup hot water
  • 1 teaspoon prepared mustard
  • - zest and juice of 1/2 lemon
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise

How To Make lemon mustard sauce

  • Step 1
    In saucepan, melt butter. Remove from heat; stir in flour, salt and pepper. Gradually blend in water and mustard. Cook over medium heat, stirring until thickened. Add lemon zest and juice. Remove from heat; blend in mayonnaise.
