Kitchen Sink Sauce

Trying to create a good sauce for meat...kept adding to it and it appears I added everything but the kitchen sink.

1 1/2 c
dark brown sugar
1 Tbsp
4 Tbsp
chili powder
2 Tbsp
black pepper,fresh ground
1 Tbsp
dry mustard
2 Tbsp
garlic powder
3 Tbsp
sweet ⦁ paprika
1 Tbsp
onion powder + 1 teaspoon
1 Tbsp
sea salt
3 tsp
1 Tbsp
thyme, dried
4 c
tomato sauce
1/2 c
cider vinegar
1/2 c
apple juice
1 c
cola (i use royal crown, when i can find it)
1/4 c
steak sauce ( i use a1)
1/4 c
prepared yellow mustard
1/4 c
lemon juice
4 Tbsp
worcestershire sauce
2 tsp
tabasco sauce
1/2 tsp
liquid smoke (hickory)


1In a 4 1/2 quart pot or larger, bring all wet sauce ingredients to a boil, uncovered, over medium heat.
2Reduce heat to low and add sauce dry ingredients.
Simmer (a slow bubble) until the sauce thickens a bit, stirring often. This takes about 30 minutes.
3Use this sauce on your grilled meat about 30 minutes before it comes off the heat (grill or smoker), or, use it on meat at the table.
