Ingredients

  • 3 clove
    garlic, minced
  • 3 Tbsp
    olive oil
  • 1 can(s)
    (29 ounces) tomato sauce
  • 1 can(s)
    (29 ounces) diced tomatoes
  • 2 Tbsp
    brown sugar
  • 1 Tbsp
    italian seasoning
  • 1 tsp
    dried basil
  • 1/2 tsp
    salt
  • 1/2 tsp
    crushed red pepper flakes

How to Make Jason's Pizza Sauce

Step-by-Step

  1. In a large saucepan, saute garlic in oil until tender. Stir in the remaining ingredients. Bring to a boil.
  2. Reduce heat. Simmer uncovered for 30 minutes or until sauce reaches desired thickness.
  3. Sauce may be refrigerated for up to one week. Sauce can be frozen. Yields 5 1/2 cups.
