garlic, minced
3 Tbsp
olive oil
1 can(s)
(29 ounces) tomato sauce
1 can(s)
(29 ounces) diced tomatoes
2 Tbsp
brown sugar
1 Tbsp
italian seasoning
1 tsp
dried basil
1/2 tsp
1/2 tsp
crushed red pepper flakes

How to Make Jason's Pizza Sauce


  • 1In a large saucepan, saute garlic in oil until tender. Stir in the remaining ingredients. Bring to a boil.
  • 2Reduce heat. Simmer uncovered for 30 minutes or until sauce reaches desired thickness.
  • 3Sauce may be refrigerated for up to one week. Sauce can be frozen. Yields 5 1/2 cups.
