japanese mustard sauce
This is a base recipe for classic Hibachi steakhouse mustard sauce. I like a little more kick than this recipe provides but this one seems to be in the wheelhouse for my family. Kick it, flip it, turn it around and make it yours.

- 3 tablespoons ground mustard
- 1 1/2 teaspoons white sugar
- 4 tablespoons milk
- 2 tablespoons heavy cream
- 2 tablespoons hot water (+/- depending on desired consistency)
- 1 tablespoon toasted sesame seeds
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 1 clove garlic, minced
