The sauce is something I got from my grandma but added to because people wanted her recipe and I didnt want to share the original but it is just as awesome.

Ingredients
- 1 pound hamburger or italian sausage*
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 5 cloves garlic minced
- 1 teaspoon oregano, dried
- 1/2 bunch parsley, italian
- 3 - bay leaves
- 2 lrg cans tomato puree
- 1/2 cup onion
- pinch salt
- pinch pepper
How To Make italian pasta sauce

Step 1In a large pot begin heating olive oil on medium heat.

Step 2Add hamburger or sausage and brown.

Step 3While the meat is browining chop onion and parsley add to pot.

Step 4Add in garlic and other herbs until they are lightly browned.

Step 5Stir in tomato puree cover and simmer for at least an hour. But with this sauce the longer the better. Serve with noodles.

Step 6*the meat is optional you can leave it out and use this sauce for Chicken parm or a as a dip for breadsticks.
