homemade very vanilla bean sugar
This vanilla bean-flecked sugar uses the entire vanilla pod for an intense flavor. Blending the sugar and vanilla bean in the food processor yields a superfine texture that's great for stirring into tea or coffee.

How To Make homemade very vanilla bean sugar
-
Step 1Place the sugar and vanilla bean pieces into a food processor (you can also use an immersion blender with a food processor attachment). Pulse the processor on and off several times, until there are no longer visible pieces of vanilla pod, and sugar is finely textured, with vanilla beans throughout.
-
Step 2Place the sugar in an airtight container and store in a dry place. Let stand for at least 1 week.
