- 1/2 cup soy sauce
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 2 teaspoons grated ginger
- 4 cloves garlic minced
- 1/4 cup mirin
- 2 tablespoons honey
- 1 teaspoon sesame oil
- 1/4 cup water
- 1 1/2 tablespoons cornstarch
How To Make homemade teriyaki sauce

Step 1Mix the cornstarch and water together and set aside. Combine remaining ingredients in a saucepan. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat to simmer and simmer about 3 minutes. Bring back to a boil and stir in the water and cornstarch mixture and cook until thickened. Keep in fridge.
