I like to make things that are easy on the wallet and delicious on the pallet. This is one of my favorite go to sauces. I hope you all enjoy it.

28 oz
canned plum tomatoes with basil
6 oz
tomato paste
14 oz
1 tsp
garlic powder or fresh
1 tsp
onion powder
1 tsp
dried basil
salt and pepper to taste

How to Make Homemade Spaghetti Sauce


  • 1Place tomatoes with juices in a large sauce pan and using your hands or a masher gently crush tomatoes.
  • 2Add water tomato paste and seasonings to now crushed tomatoes. Stir and bring to a simmer.
  • 3Serve with favorite pasta or use in any dish requiring spaghetti sauce.
  • 4For a chunky sauce you can add 16 oz package of sliced mushrooms and 1 lb. of cooked hamburger or Italian sausage.
