homemade spaghetti sauce
I like to make things that are easy on the wallet and delicious on the pallet. This is one of my favorite go to sauces. I hope you all enjoy it.

Ingredients
- 28 ounces canned plum tomatoes with basil
- 6 ounces tomato paste
- 14 ounces water
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder or fresh
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon dried basil
- - salt and pepper to taste
How To Make homemade spaghetti sauce

Step 1Place tomatoes with juices in a large sauce pan and using your hands or a masher gently crush tomatoes.

Step 2Add water tomato paste and seasonings to now crushed tomatoes. Stir and bring to a simmer.

Step 3Serve with favorite pasta or use in any dish requiring spaghetti sauce.

Step 4For a chunky sauce you can add 16 oz package of sliced mushrooms and 1 lb. of cooked hamburger or Italian sausage.
