this is something i just tried it is very good and different from most ketchups

Ingredients

  • 6 ounces can tomato paste
  • 1/4 cup honey (or agave)
  • 1/2 cup white vinegar
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 3/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/8 teaspoon garlic powder

How To Make homemade ketchup

  • Step 1
    combine all the ingredients in a medium saucepan over medium heat, whisk until smooth.
  • Step 2
    when it comes to a boil, reduce heat to low and simmer for 20 minutes, stirring often.
  • Step 3
    remove from heat and cover until cool. chill and store refrigerated in a covered container.
