Ingredients
- 3 tablespoons good chili powder (gephardt's or mexene)
- 4 x - i mix together ancho,guajillo, and chipotle powders
- 1/2 cup ground cumin
- 1/2 cup dry oregano
- 1/2 cup onion powder
- 1/4 cup garlic powder
- 1/2 cup season salt
- 1/4 cup pepper
- pinch cayenne pepper
How To Make homemade chili seasoning

Step 1Combine all ingredients, except the garlic powder, in a skillet, turn heat on high and cook until the mixture becomes fragrant and starts to smoke, 20-30 seconds.

Step 2Let cool, add garlic, mix well. Store in an airtight container.

Step 3Make about 1 1/3 cups. I use 1 1/2 - 2 tbs. per 1 lb. of ground beef.
