How to Make Homemade Alfredo Sauce
- 1In a medium sauce pan, melt butter. Once butter is almost melted, add the cut pieces of cream cheese. Using a wooden spoon, stir until butter and cream cheese are well mixed.
- 2Add the Half and Half, Parmesan cheese and garlic powder. Sprinkle pepper on top. Stir again until well mixed. Once the sauce is well mixed and sauce-like, turn off heat and set aside so it can thicken up. Stir prior to serving.
- 3When you get the desired thick consistency, the sauce is done. Pour over your favorite pasta.
Note: Serve breadsticks so you can dip.
