Ingredients

4 qtchopped tomatoes

1 cgreen pepper
-
1/4 tspcayenne pepper (use less if you don't like it hot)

3 Tbspsalt

2 conion, chopped

1 cred (sweet) pepper

1 csugar
-
2 1/2 cvinegar
-
1 Tbspmustard seed
-
1 tspcinnamon
-
1 tspallspice, ground
How to Make Home Canned Chili Sauce
- Combine all the above ingredients and cook on medium heat stirring occasionally 1 to 1 1/2 hours till thickened.
- Add vinegar and the following spices in a cloth bag: mustard seed, cinnamon, allspice.
- Cook until thickens again and pour into hot sterilized pint jars and seal.
