  • 1 Tbsp
    low-sodium soy sauce or tamari soy sauce
  • 2 Tbsp
    brown sugar, such as demerara
  • 1 Tbsp
    fresh ginger, minced
  • 1 Tbsp
    hoisin sauce
  • 2 Tbsp
    ketchup
  • 2 Tbsp
    honey
  • 1 large
    clove garlic, pressed
  • 1 1/2 c
    pineapple juice

How to Make Hawaiian Style Teriyaki Sauce

Step-by-Step

  1. In a saucepan over medium heat, combine all ingredients together. Bring to a boil, stirring constantly, and then reduce heat to simmer. Cook until sauce thickens, about 15 to 20 minutes.
