Ingredients
- 3 tablespoons paprika
- 1/2-1 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon ground cumin
- - juice of 1/2 lemon
How To Make harissa

Step 1Put the paprika, cayenne pepper, ground cumin and 1 cup water in a large heavy pan.

Step 2Bring the spice mixture to a boil, then immediately remove the pan from the heat.

Step 3Stir in the lemon juice to taste and allow to cool completely before serving or using.
