- 1/2-1 tsp
- cayenne pepper
- 1/4 tsp
- ground cumin
- juice of 1/2 lemon
How to Make Harissa
- 1Put the paprika, cayenne pepper, ground cumin and 1 cup water in a large heavy pan.
- 2Bring the spice mixture to a boil, then immediately remove the pan from the heat.
- 3Stir in the lemon juice to taste and allow to cool completely before serving or using.
