  • 1 cup water
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1 slice fresh gingerroot about 1 inch long
  • 1 stick cinnamon broken
  • 1/2 teaspoon peppercorns
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 8 - whole cloves
  • 1/2 teaspoon allspice berries

How To Make gingerbread syrup version 1

  • Step 1
    Combine all in a medium sauce pan.
  • Step 2
    Bring to a Boil.
  • Step 3
    Reduce heat, let simmet 30mins
  • Step 4
    Cool, store in airtight container in the refrigrater for up to 2 weeks.
