I have made this bbq sauce for years to go on smoked beef brisket. It results in a thinner sauce and is excellent for dipping ribs and/or pouring over beef brisket. It's tangy and spicy all at the same time. Delish.

Ingredients For family favorite bbq sauce for ribs and brisket

  • 1 bottle
    chili sauce (heinz brand or other - not asian)
  • 1/4 c
    apple cider vinegar
  • 2 Tbsp
    worchestershire sauce
  • 1 tsp
    salt
  • 1 tsp
    pepper
  • 1 tsp
    chili powder
  • dash cayenne (or to your liking)
  • 1 1/2 c
    water
