This is a thin syrup for pancakes, waffles, whatever!

Ingredients

  • 1 cup water, cold
  • 2 cups cane sugar
  • 2 teaspoons maple extract
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

How To Make easy syrup

  • Step 1
    In saucepan, add water and sugar. Place over medium heat and stir to mix. Heat to boiling then reduce heat. Simmer till sugar is totally dissolved.
  • Step 2
    Add maple and vanilla extract and stir to mix. Keep syrup warm for your pancakes or waffles!
  • Step 3
    When cooled, store in refrigerator and use when needed/wanted. Try it on ice cream as well!
  • Step 4
    If you want traditional Southern Sweet Tea, just leave the flavors out, cool and add as wanted to your pitcher of tea!
