Ingredients
- 2 pounds lean ground beef
- 1 pound loose italian sausage
- 1 medium yellow onion-chopped
- 2 tablespoons fresh garlic-minced
- 3 tablespoons dry italian seasoning
- 1 tablespoon kosher salt
- 2 jars ragu traditional tomato sauce
- 1/2 cup red wine (or beef stock if you prefer to leave it out)
- 2 tablespoons olive oil, extra virgin
- 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
How To Make easy italian meat sauce

Step 1Heat oil in big skillet. Cook onions & garlic until onions are soft.

Step 2Add beef & sausage, mix well as it browns. Cook till all pink is gone.

Step 3Add Italian seasoning & salt (to taste—depends on the sausage). Blend well.

Step 4Pour 2 jars of sauce over the meat. Use the ½ cup of wine or beef stock to rinse out the sauce jars and pour over meat --- Stir well.

Step 5Turn down heat, cover and let simmer for 20 – 30 minutes. Add parmesan cheese in during the last 5 minutes of cooking, stir well. - Serve over your favorite pasta.
