Years ago, we were visiting with a friend of my father's and the lady of the house made a hot dog chili. This is my version.

Ingredients

1 pound ground beef
1/3 cup water
2/3 cup ketchup
2 teaspoons chili powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon pepper
1/2 teaspoon sugar, heaping
dash - worcestershire sauce
3 tablespoons each, minced bell pepper and onion, or to taste

How To Make easy hot dog chili

Step 1

In a large sauce pan put the water, ground beef, onion and bell pepper breaking the meat apart while cooking. When meat is browned, stir in tomato sauce, ketchup, chili powder, salt, pepper, sugar,and Worcestershire sauce. Bring to a boil and cook over medium heat about 20 minutes until chili has thickened.
