I vowed that I would never use canned cranberry sauce again, and since this recipe was created, I have been able to keep that promise!

Ingredients
- 4 cups fresh berries
- 1 1/2 cups water
- 5 - whole cloves
- 5 - whole allspice berries
- 3 - cinnamon sticks
- 2 cups sugar
How To Make easy holiday cranberry sauce

Step 1Place fresh cranberries and water in a medium saucepan over medium heat.

Step 2Wrap cinnamon sticks, allspice berries and cloves in a spice bag and place in the saucepan.

Step 3Cook until the cranberries begin to burst, about 10 minutes.

Step 4Stir in sugar and reduce heat to low. Continue cooking until sugar has dissolved.

Step 5Remove from heat and allow to cool. Discard spice bag. Chill for 8 hours or overnight before serving.
