Ingredients
- 1 pint heavy whipping cream
- 1/2 cup butter, no substitutes
- 2 tablespoons cream cheese
- 1 cup parmesan cheese, grated or shaved
- 5 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1/4 teaspoon fresh ground nutmeg
- OPTIONAL:
- - add 1-2lbs cooked chicken(chopped), crumbled italian sausage or shrimp to sauce before serving.
- - also, if you want to turn up the heat, add some cayenne, red pepper flakes, paprika, white pepper according to your own taste! (i do!)
How To Make easy alfredo sauce

Step 1Heat oil in saucepan over medium heat. Add garlic and saute 1 minute, then add butter and cook until melted.

Step 2Add cream and cream cheese and stir/cook until thickened.

Step 3Add nutmeg and parmesan cheese, stir until cheese is melted and serve over fettuccine or your favorite cooked pasta.
