1 1/4 ctomato juice, home-canned if available
How to Make DIY Cream of Tomato Soup
- Melt butter in a small saucepan over medium heat. Stir in flour and seasonings. Cook over medium heat until it bubbles and the raw flour taste is gone.
- Add tomato juice, stirring with a wire whisk to prevent lumps. Cook until thick.
