dixie's mustard sauce
I got this recipe from a cookbook published about 20 years ago, by a church my daughter and I attended while living in San Jose. It was fun trying out recipes submitted by people I knew! Many are now favorite dishes. However, I have NOT tried this recipe - yet. The submitter suggested serving it with ham (or "anything you can think of", she added). She also stated that "It's great!" Here's hoping you try it and like it, too! Photo by Bing.

Step 1Cook until thick (low to medium-low heat) all ingredients except cream. Cool. When cool, fold in the 1 cup of whipped cream.

Step 2*The recipe does not specify if the sauce is to be served warm, cool or at room temperature; I would guess room temperature.
