  • 2
    small pads of butter
  • 2 Tbsp
    chopped spring onion
  • 1/3 c
    heavy whipping cream
  • 3 Tbsp
    dijon style mustard
  • 3 Tbsp
    chicken broth or dry white wine
  • 1/4 tsp

How to Make Dijonnaise Sauce for Vegetables or Meats


  1. Melt butter over medium in saucepan. Saute' spring onion 1-2 minutes over medium. Stirring until soft.
  2. Stir in cream, mustard, broth or wine and cook until slightly thickened ( 1-2 minutes).
  3. This can be poured over meat or veggie of your choice. If desired, sprinkle a favorite herb on top of the sauce.
