diane's fav homemade b'b'que sauce

had the ribs but needed the bbque sauce to go on them came up with this spicey and sweet at the same time yummo!!!!this looks like alot of work but its not jus have all stuff ready this is good used for grill cookin or bakin in the oven

Ingredients

  • 2 cans [6 oz] tomato paste
  • 1 - tom paste can... sunny d orange drink with 1 t dried orange zest
  • 1 - tom paste can... lemon juice with 1 t dried lemon zest
  • 1 - tom paste can...water
  • 1 cup tomato ketchup
  • 1/3 cup clove honey
  • 1/2 cup root beer syrup...[from walmart in the snowcone machine flavorings]
  • 1/2 tablespoon finally chopped dried chives
  • several clove garlic,finally chopped
  • 1 tablespoon chinese dried mustard
  • 1 tablespoon chinese ginger
  • 2 tablespoons smokey paprika
  • 1 teaspoon celery seeds
  • 1 tablespoon liquid smoke flavoring
  • 2 tablespoons dried onion
  • 1 teaspoon onion juice
  • 1 tablespoon instant coffee powder,disolved in 1/4 cup hot water
  • 1 pinch red pepper flakes
  • 1 teaspoon hot tabasco sauce
  • 2 tablespoons heapping spoons creamy peanut butter
  • 2 large sweet apples,corred pealed and grated
  • - salt and pepper,to taste
  • 1/4 cup chocolate syrup
  • 1/2 tablespoon dill pickle juice
  • 1/2 stick butter

How To Make diane's fav homemade b'b'que sauce

  • Step 1
    put all dry ingredients in food processor... pulce til all very fine add all the rest[except butter] pulce again
  • Step 2
    put in sauce pan cook 90 min on very low heat stirring often add butter stir til it melts
  • Step 3
    use on grilled ribs or chicken or pulled pork or whereever u need b'b'que sauce enjoy
