Ingredients
- 1/2 cup olive oil, extra virgin
- 8 cloves large garlic, sliced thinly
- 1/2 cup fresh lime juice
- 3 tablespoons fresh grapefruit juice
- 1/3 cup water
- 1 teaspoon ground cumin
- 1/2 teaspoon ground oregano
- 1 teaspoon salt, or to taste
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 3 tablespoons chopped fresh cilantro or flat-leaf parsley
How To Make cuban citrus garlic sauce

Step 1Heat oil in medium sized saucepan over medium heat. Add garlic and cook until fragrant and golden. Do not overcook garlic will become bitter.

Step 2Stir in juice, water, cumin, oregano, and salt and pepper.

Step 3Bring to a full boil. Check for seasoning and let cool until reaches room temperature.

Step 4Store in refrigerator tightly closed.
