I use this for a lot of recipes, gravies, baked goods, in place of clotted cream, salad dressing.

Ingredients

  • 1/2 pt - heavy cream ( not ultra pasturized )
  • 1/2 pt - sour cream

How To Make creme fraiche

  • Step 1
    Mix both ingredients together in a bowl or container with a tight fitting lid. Blend well, cover & let stand at room temperature overnight. Should be well thickened by morning.
  • Step 2
    Refrigerate, should last approximately 2wks. Use in whatever strikes your fancy.
