onion, chopped fine
4 lb
cranberries
1 pt
water
1 pt
vinegar
1 3/4 lb
sugar
1 tsp
cloves
1 tsp
cinnamon
1 tsp
allspice
1 tsp
salt
1 tsp
celery salt
1 tsp
pepper

How to Make CRANBERRY CATSUP

Step-by-Step

  • 1Combine onions and cranberries with water, cook until soft. Press through sieve, add remaining ingredients. Boil until thick; pour into sterilized jars; seal. Serve with turkey, chicken, or on baked beans. Makes 3 pints.
