Ingredients For cranberry catsup

  • 1 lg
    onion, chopped fine
  • 4 lb
    cranberries
  • 1 pt
    water
  • 1 pt
    vinegar
  • 1 3/4 lb
    sugar
  • 1 tsp
    cloves
  • 1 tsp
    cinnamon
  • 1 tsp
    allspice
  • 1 tsp
    salt
  • 1 tsp
    celery salt
  • 1 tsp
    pepper

How To Make cranberry catsup

  • 1
    Combine onions and cranberries with water, cook until soft. Press through sieve, add remaining ingredients. Boil until thick; pour into sterilized jars; seal. Serve with turkey, chicken, or on baked beans. Makes 3 pints.
